Our Duty to Care Statement
At Tiddlywinks we thrive in caring for the children in our charge and to be responsive to the feelings and concerns of their parents/ carers. We wish to work with you to provide the best quality childcare and play opportunities in a pleasant, stimulating, caring and learning environment.
We will provide:
- A safe and caring environment
- Stimulating play and learning opportunities and experiences for your child
- A guaranteed place for confirmed advance bookings
- Access to trained, experienced and dedicated staff to discuss your child’s progress and to resolve problems
- Consultation on future developments in Tiddlywinks
- The administration of prescribed medication with your written consent
- Mid-morning and mid-afternoon refreshments for your child
- Breakfast and afternoon tea time snacks
- An array of healthy and nutritious mid-day meals if booked and paid in advance
- Supervision when your child uses the toilet to ensure good hygiene practice
- A disciplined approach in a positive and caring manner, your child will never be smacked
We ask that you provide:
- Nappies, wet wipes and barrier cream
- Lunch for your child (if this has not been pre-booked to be provided by Tiddlywinks)
- A change of clothes
- Name tags on clothes, especially coats
- Names on your child’s bottles and dishes, etc.
- The correct fees paid in advance at the start of each month. If you are paying by cash or cheque, please enclose in an envelope with your child’s name on the envelope or on the back of the cheque.
- A minimum of one month’s notice if you require to terminate your contract with Tiddlywinks
- As much advance notice as possible, preferably a week, when cancelling a session
- The names of persons authorised by you to collect your child from Tiddlywinks. Your child will not be allowed to leave with an unauthorised person.
- Notification of withdrawal in the interest of public health and safety due to infectious or contagious diseases.
